I wrote this song in Aspen, some time ago, and I remember rushing over to The Great Divide music store (the best music store in the world, until it closed) to let my good friend Sandy Munro hear it. I believe I recorded it on an old-style Walkman, as I didn’t have anything else with me at the time. As I recall, he thought I might need to lower the key, but my producer didn’t agree so it is as it was written. I hope it speaks to your heart.
